Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the environmental effects of 1 kg copper recyling from the printed circut board which is a waste electrical electronic eqıipment type by pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical and pyrolytic-biometallurgical recycling methods were determined and compared by life cycle assessment method. Pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical methods are applied abroad and there aren't such recycling methods in our country yet. Pyrolytic-biometallurgical method is a method applied in the laboratory. The comparison was performed using SimaPro 8.5 software according to CML IA Baseline method fort he impact categories of depletion of fossil fuel based abiotic sources, global warming potential, human toxicity potential, marine ecotoxicity potential, photochemical oxidation potential and acidification potential effect categories. The results showed that the highest effect was caused by pyrolytic-biometallurgical method and this was mainly caused by electricity generation. In the case of the development of the experimental method, pyrolytic biometallurgical recycling method, industrial symbiosis can be achieved by using the orange peel, which is the auxiliary material, as well as reducing the environmental effects.
