Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to examine the anthropometric and motoric properties of elite karate-do kata athletes. Quantitative measurement methods were used in the study. Investigate the universe of the research, the athletes competing in the kata branch of the karate. The sample group of the research is 12 athletes who competed in the kata branch in world, European championships and international competitions. Digital hand dynamometer, digital back and leg dynamometer, gulick tape measure, jump meter, sit-and-reach test, anthropometric set and skinfold caliper were used as data collection tools in the study. The device and standard deviation obtained in the measurements were calculated. Findings The average and standard deviation values of some regions in the body measurements of karate athletes participating in the trip were found to be higher than the average and standard deviation of the Shotokan style athletes. Female participants have higher endomorph body type averages, regardless of style. Male participants' Shotokan katacı endomorphy, Goju-Ryu katacıs endomorphy, Shito-Ryu katacı, ectomorphy average body type is approximately high. The averages of right paw strength measurements were higher for Shotokan catalysts, while the averages of back strength measurements were higher for Goju-Ryu athletes below. There was no significant difference in your flexibility and bounce settings. As a result, the findings of the study can be said that physical fitness parameters have an important role for high performance in cataractors.
