Flora of Elmacık, Koçpınar and İncesu villages and environment(Aksaray)

This research was carried out to determine the flora of Elmacık, Koçpınar and İncesu Villages and environment (Aksaray). As a result of the examination of 691 plant specimens collected from the area, in 2013 and 2014. 366 taxa that belong to 55 families (Pteridophyta 1, Gymnospermae 2, Angiospermae 52) and 220 genera (Pteridophyta 1, Gymnospermae 4, Dicotyledonae 187, Monocotyledonae 28) was determined. 365 taxa belong to Spermatophyta divisio. Gymnospermae are represented by four taxa and Angiospermae are represented by 214 taxa (Dicotyledonae 187, Monocotyledonae 28). The 45 of the total taxa are endemic to Turkey and the rate of endemizm is 12.29 %. The phytogeografic elements are represented as follows; Irano- Turanian 78 taxa (21.3 %), Mediterranean 22 taxa (6.0 %), Euro-Siberian 24 taxa (6.5 %) and widespread and others which their regions unclarified 320 taxa (66.12 %).
