Ba's according to Elmalılı M. Hamdi Yazir

Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır is one of the important figures of the scientific world of our country in the 19th and 20th centuries. He is known for his great research on the religion of Islam and gained his reputation in the field of Islam with his 10-volume book entitled Hak Dini Kur'an Dili, which he wrote as an interpretation and translation of the Qur'an. Ba's has always been an important issue since the existence of man. For this reason, people have been interested in this subject throughout history. In the holy texts, the subject of ba's has been revealed as an object of faith. In particular, the information given in the Qur'an about Ba's is clearer and more than the information available in other holy texts. Our author has also given extensive coverage to this subject in his tafsir. In our study, Yazır's views on "Ba's", meaning resurrection after death, were tried to be revealed. Our study consists of an introduction and two main sections and conclusions. In the introduction, the life, scientific personality and works of Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır were emphasized. In the first chapter, under the title of conceptual framework; Concepts such as the concept of Ba's, resurrection and doom, acbü-z zeneb, death were explained. Various views on the shape and details of the resurrection were given under the title of Ba'sin's possibility and circumstance. According to the Ahl as-Sunnah, under the main heading of ba's; The views of various scholars were included under the titles of Ba's in Maturidi and Ba's in Ashari. According to Islamic philosophers, how various philosophers interpreted resurrection was discussed under the title of Ba's. In the second part, how our author Hamdi Yazır evaluates resurrection is discussed and grounded with historical examples from the Qur'an.
