Abstract (EN)

The general aim of this research was to examine diamond, the most precious stone in the nature, in a gemological approach and to research the color differences among diamonds. In accordance with the topic, by also getting support from the experts, all the necessary laboratory work was being completed and the details were analyzed. The laboratory work of this research was conducted in International Diamond Laboratory (IDL) which is in İstanbul Cağaloğlu Molla Fenari Street and also in Nuruosmaniye Street Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD Antwerp İstanbul) Laboratories. During investigations, Alpha Diamond Analyzer and M-screen were being used. The findings, graphics and the pictures that emerged at the end of the research clearly reveals that the natural color formation of a diamond completely occurs from the different color elements that is in a diamond. Diamond, which is a miracle of the nature, has proven to the experts once again, as it does after every research, that it is such a precious and treasured stone.
