Özet (EN)

Migrations to abroad caused important changes in the lives of people and societies. The migration of a specific community or an individual shouldn?t be considered as a simple event socially. Searching migration in the level of groups or individuals has an importance in the view of geography. The reasons and results of migration in the light of culture, society, economy, politics, legal and administration are the points to be held. In this sense, the migration from the town of Emirdag to Belgium in 1961 has still been going on nowadays in a great deal. We have also searched the effect of this migration, that is continuing, upon the people and the society besides its reasons and results. We have identified that the economic reasons lie under the migration to Belgium as the most important factor. We have seen that the employees who, at first, depart with the thought of coming back after earning enough money to establish a bussiness become Belgium citizens by adapting there hardly. It is realized that the migration which is thought to be benevolent to the town at the beginning has caused some disadvantageous improvements for the town. It is identified that the most important disadvantage of the migration upon the people is the cultural degeneracy.
