Abstract (EN)

In this study, security forces to cope with stress in terms of different variables to examine some of the style. Independent variables of the study; If enforcement of the age, gender, occupation duty in the period, economic status, marital status and The dependent variable was used to scale the stress coping styles.This researchwho work in safety Istanbul city center, has been conducted on members . The study group, and members of safety and was determined by random sampling method. The sample, forming working groups of police officers are also selected through random sampling Agreed to participate in research studies for the realization of the46 women and 251 men with a total of 297 police members were interviewed one to one and coping with stress Attitude Inventory were asked to fill in forms with personal information. Statistical analysis of data obtained sided t test and ANOVA and Tukey test were used for the detection of differences.According to the findings of the study coping with stress and attitudes related to the safety of the dimension of scale, age, gender, economic status, education level, marital status and length of service to create significant differences were found (p<0.05; P<0,01). As a result, the safety of members with years of experience, especially to cope with the increased stress of coping styles used to reduce the negative was determined.Key Words: Safety members, Stress, Stress Coping Styles
