Abstract (EN)
Death is one of the most fundamental and universal issues in human history. Throughout time, art has addressed and reflected this profound and complex concept in various forms. The artist showcases this idea through various interpretations and displays in regards to space and object using installation art, a creative form of expression. This study aims to explore the questions of death and life through personal experiences within the framework of artistic practices, supported by various scientific sources and artworks related to the subject. Specifically, installation works structured around what remains after death, in light of the transient nature of existence, seek to create a meaningful unity through the interaction of object and space. In this context, installations presented with a personal narrative are considered significant for rethinking and reinterpreting the works, demonstrating how the subject can be approached from a subjective perspective. It has been concluded that artists can utilize any kind of object and space in installation art as part of an individual narrative, and that experiential practices cannot be separated from internalized social and cultural values, despite their subjective nature.
