Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the effect of the afforestation of the Saricam species in Erzurum province on soil properties over time. For this purpose, by going to the study area in 2019, 20-year, 10-year, 5-year Scotch pine planting areas and the adjacent non-afforestation areas. were selected. Soil samples were taken from 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm depth levels from these selected sample areas. In soil samples taken, analyzes such as soil grain composition (texture), pH, Ec, Total lime, Organic matter, Total nitrogen, C / N ratio, Dispersion rate, erosion rate and aggregate stability were made. As a result of variance analysis, in areas where planting at 0-10 cm depth level, the differences in all soil properties were found statistically different in terms of time, except for properties such as total lime, dispersion rate, erosion rate and aggregate stability (P <0.05). In 10-20 cm leather level, there was a significant difference in all features except clay lime nitrogen and aggregate stability. Significant changes in soil properties have been introduced with afforestation. According to the data determined as a result of the study, it was revealed that there were serious improvements in the soil after reforestation. According to these data, the necessity of afforesting similarly-shaped areas immediately emerged.
