Özet (EN)
In this research, the correlation between satisfaction levels and the levels of anxiety and depression in married women's relationship with their spouses is studied. Additionally, the participants' socio-demographic characteristics (age, the education level of the married women and that of their spouse, the state of being a working woman, the number of children, the perceived income, the duration of courtship before marriage, the type of marriage) are evaluated in accordance with the satisfaction levels on the relationship evaluation scale. In addition to this, the scale results of the level of support by the spouse, and the visions for future about the marriage were compared to the satisfaction evaluation scale results. The research sample consists of 234 married women aged between 18-60. Demographic Information forms, Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS), Beck Depression Inventory, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAİ-I-II) are used, the findings are evaluated through Kruskal Wallis-H test Mann Whitney-U test, Independent Samples t test, One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Post-hoc LSD test, and the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The result of the evaluation of the statistical analyses shows that the lower the RAS results are the higher the results of depression and State-Trait Anxiety are. The RAS results of women aged 45 and over, as well as the results of women married for 21 years or more are meaningfully low. No relation is found between the education level of the married women, education level of their spouse, the state of being a working woman, the number of children, the perceived income, the duration of courtship before marriage, the type of marriage and the satisfaction in the relationship. There is a meaningful correlation between the satisfaction of women in their relationship with the support of their spouses and visions for the mariage. The findings and the outcome of this research are discussed within the literature. Keywords: Marriage, Satisfaction in relation, Depression, Anxiety.
