The impact of facebook use on the loneliness and despair levels of adult women

This study has been carry out in order to analyze the impact of using facebook on the loneliness and desoeration levels of adult females. The study employed varous data collection tools including Mazman facebook usage purpose scale, UCLA loneliness scale,BECK desperation scale, and the personal information from prepaured by the researcher which question the age, socio-economic status, aducation level, and the working status of the participants. The data collected for the study were analised by using SPSS statistical package program cronbach and the KR.20 test. The P value was assumed to be ….. .05 as the significate level in the evaluation of all of the analised te relation between the ages of female facebook users and their scores in the BECK desuperation scale and UCLA lonelines scale. Dunnet T3 post-hoc tests were used in order to identify the sources of significant diffirence obtainet as a result of the variance analysis carried out for the assessment of the differentation of the scores obtained by the female participants from BECK desperation scale and UCLA lonelines scale depending on age, socio-economic status, education level and working status. As a result of the study it was concluded that the most common purpose of facebook usage is the maintenano of Daily communication and Daily relations even thought they have other additional purpose. According to the results of the analysis a positively significant correlation of the female facebook participants who use the website for Daily communication and socialization. No significant corellation wass found between the UCLA loneliness scale and BECK scale scores of the participants and socio economic status, education level and working status.
