Fadl Hasan Abbas and his book named el-Belaga Funûnuhâ wa Afnânuhâ

To understand the Koran throughout history has become a current issue in terms of Muslims. They have got a effort to reveal the syntax and vitality of Arabic which is the main of this understanding struggle. In this point, the science that revealing elegances of the Koran and revealing elegances of the vocable is the science of Belağat (Rhetoric). The Belağat has become one of the building blocks of Islamic thinking tradition by developing with religious, language, literature and foreign resources. From this point of view, learning of science of Belağat has been considered complulsory to understand the Koran in due form. Throughout history many works have been made for the sciene of Belağat. The main aim of this Works that are wrote up afterwards together with the founding texts is to understand the Koran in the best way by learning the literary arts. In this study view of Fadl Hasan Abbâs, who aims teach belağat in the modern age, about science of Meâni, one of the important sections of Belağat, are examined. Fadl Hasan Abbâs, draws attention as a writer who aims easily understanding of belâgat and as a writer whose works are widely read in today's Arab World. In the introduction of the work it is dealt with appearing the science of belâgat and its historical development processes, it is linked with the relevant works in this space. Schools and representants of Belâgat have been revealed. In the first section the life of Fadl Hassan Abbâs, development process of his scientific charasteristics and his Works are examined. In the second section of our study, from the point of works that have been wrote up by Fadl Hassan Abbâs, it is dealt with his views about Meâni, resources he used and his method.
