Özet (EN)

In this study; Sub-flow artificial wetland system has been used to use the domestic wastewater from the existing package treatment system of the Muş Sugar Factory in the central district of Muş for garden irrigation. In order to increase the treatment efficiency of the artificial wetland system (eg duckweed, water reeds and licorice root), the removal efficiencies of the system using different plant species were calculated. In autumn 2018, winter 2018 and spring 2019, measurements of BOD (biological oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand), SS (suspended solids), pH and fish bioassay parameters were taken in artificial wetland inflow and outflow water. Comparisons were made on the basis of the measured values of artificial wetland inflow and outflow waters and the limit values of WPCR Table 21.1 and Table 21.5. As a result; removal efficiencies were obtained between 43-53% in BOD, 54-93% in COD and 64-72% in SS. The percentage change for pH was calculated between 6-12%. For the BOD and COD parameters, the artificial wetland input values are below the limit values and the output values are above the limit values. In terms of SS parameter, artificial wetland inflow is above the limit values except for Winter 2018 period and the outflow waters are below the limit values. The pH values are between the limit values. In autumn 2018, the input and output values of the fish bioassay were determined above the limit value.
