Abstract (EN)

In the study, the effects of five different sowing times (20 April, 4 May, 18 May, 1 June and 15 June) and five different sowing densities (40x8, 40x10 40x12, 40x14 and 40x16) on bean yield and some yield components were examined. In 2018, the study was carried out in a split plot in random blocks with three replications under farmer conditions in Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir province. In this study, emergence time (day-1), %50 flowering time (day-1), %50 pod setting time (day-1), vegetation period (day-1), number of plants per square meter (plant m-2), number of pods plant (pod plant-1), number of seeds per pod ( seed pod-1), pod length (cm-1), number of seeds per plant (seed plant-1), seed yield per plant (gplant-1), plant height (cm-1), first pod height (cm-1), number of major branches (branches plant-1), biological yield (kg da-1), seed yield (kg da-1), harvest index (%) and hundred seed weight (g) were investigated. At the end of the study, it was determined that the sowing time and sowing densities had a statistically significant effect on all the yield and yield components examined. It was determined that as the sowing time was delayed, all the characteristics examined were negatively affected significantly. As the effect of sowing frequency decreased in terms of phonological characteristics, it was found that vegetation period (days), %50 flowering time (days), %50 pod setting time (day-) shortened, excluding emergence time (days). On the other hand, there were statistically significant increases in common bean characteristics due to the decrease in seed amount. In addition, the seed yield and biological yield averages decreased significantly due to the lengthening of the row distance. In the study, the highest seed yield was determined as 358.3 kg da-1 from the plots planted in 10 cm row planting density on May 4. It was determined that the lowest seed yield was obtained from the plots planted on a 16 cm row on June 15, with 48.67 kg da-1
