Abstract (EN)
In this study, we investigated the nutritional values of biofloc biomass which are used in sustainable aquaculture production using different nitrogen and carbon sources. Simple sugar, glucose and molasses were used for the biofloc accumulation. In terms of biofloc biomass, simple sugar use resulted with the best production whereas, the least biomass produced was in the molasses enriched groups. Contrary to biomass, amino acid profile of the molasses enriched groups were more rich in content while simple sugar and glucose enriched groups did not differ in amino acid profile. According to our results, biofloc use in aquaculture production can be used as a supplementary feed source and it is important to know that carbon source used to enrich biofloc accumulation changes the amino acid profile and should be considered when biofloc is used for nutritional purposed.
