Fungal remediation of nematocyte with fluopyram active substance at different concentrations and mortality effect on daphnia magna

Abstract (EN)

The use of chemicals such as insecticides, herbicides and fungicides is common in agriculture and other industries to protect crops and other crops from pests, weeds and fungi. While these agents are necessary to control pests and weeds, they have often had undesirable consequences, such as harming non-target organisms, including aquatic species. In this study, a bioremediation study was carried out with a Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) parameters on nematocyte with different concentrations of Fluopyram active ingredient, which was prepared synthetically using Pencilium jensenii and Penicillium frequentans. A mortality test was performed on Daphnia magna before and after treatment in environments with the highest removal efficiency. According to the results obtained, the highest system-based removal for COD and TOC was 90% in P. frequantans species, 750 ppm Fluopyram on the 6th day and 1000 ppm Fluopyram on the 7th day, respectively. Considering the mortality results, it was seen at the end of the 96th hour in an environment of 90% to 750 ppm. As a result of the study, it was shown that Fluopiram, in particular, fungicides have a significant effect on aquatic species, including the aquatic crustacean Daphnia magna.
