Abstract (EN)
In this study, laminates (melamine impregenated paper), PVC and lack paint finished MDF panels were used MDF samples were obtained from commercial storesfrom. The effects of these metarials on MDF panel?s surface were determined and compared to each other. According to the results, PVC coated MDF panels showed higher abrasion resistance compared to laminated and lack painted panels. Cigarette burn test show that lack painted panels performed better than others. Water steam test and staining test results show that all of the three materials performed at standart quality valuves. PVC coated MDF panels showed higher impact resistance than others. Lack painted panels were found inferior in terms of cracking properties compared to PVC and laminated panels.
