Abstract (EN)
The present study investigated the effect of compost aerobic fermented from Cystoseira barbata macro algae with zeolite combinations on soil macro and microorganisms applied to soil of bean culture. Collected along the coastal zone of Giresun on May with optimum conditions, Cystoseira barbata were washed with seawater several time to clean up from epiphytes, sediments and other organic matters. Then, samples were washed with tap water to remove salt and pollution and let them stay at room temperature for a day. Cleaned algae were chopped 1-3 cm long and dried to bring them down to % 60 humidity. Ready to use compost were mixed with zeolite and filled into pots. The study which carried out at Giresun Hazelnut Research Station were divided by eight treatments with three replicates each. Microorganism count were performed at laboratory conditions each month by taking soil samples from pots. After six months, Macroorganism were counted by emptying the pots on November. The compost and zeolite combinations were determined to be unaffected on soil micro and macro organism in short term. However, micro and microorganism were increased more in soil of the inorganic fertilizer treatment.
