Abstract (EN)

Fe-Si-B Amorphous alloys are called metallic glass by the trade name because they form alloys similar to glass. With the powder metallurgy method, Fe-Si-B Alloyed Amorphous Metallic Glasses are produced by alloying boron, silicon elements and iron powders in certain proportions and they find use in the industry with the additives of various alloy powders. It has been revealed that material production techniques and components in the structure of the material affect the internal structure and properties of the material. For this reason, different production techniques have been developed to produce materials with better and desiredproperties, and studies have been made on the use of different elements in different ratios. To build components in engineering, metallic glass strips can be woven into fabric, knitted to make pipes, rolled to make cylinders, and laminated to form sheets. Structural applications include high-strength control cables, shielding of electrical and optical cables, pressure vessels, rocket bodies, magnetic shielding materials. Chromium-based glasses are attractive for use in the marine and biomedical fields due to their resistance to corrosion. Cables for equipment in military systems, chemical filters and reaction vessels, electrodes, razors, scalpels and many more can be counted. In this study, produced by vacuum art melting method by adding Ni-Co-Cr alloys to Fe-Si-B amorphous metallic glass alloy with powder metallurgy method at a certain rate of 8 samples (4 heat treated and 4 normal) tested, the microhardness, abbrassion,XRD, SEM and EDS analyzes and their effects on microstructure properties were investigated. As a result of the experimental studies, it was determined that the alloying element used changed the basic properties of the material at very different levels by comparing the differences in its mechanical properties and structural properties. It is thought that the studies to be carried out by using different alloying elements or by changing the alloying element ratios used will shed light on determining the characteristics of Fe-Si-B amorphous metallic glasses.
