Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to examine the problems faced by science teachers in the distance education process and the methods of coping with these problems. Basic qualitative research approach was used in the study. The sample of the study, in which the purposive sampling method was used, consists of nine science teachers. In the study, data were collected using semi-structured interviews consisting of ten questions. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The categories created were tabulated. The findings were gathered in two groups as the problems experienced by the teachers in the distance education process and the coping methods. As a result of the analysis, in the distance education process, the teachers stated that "insufficient internet infrastructure, the application is in English, the inadequacy of technology use, the inability to reach the student, the lack of learning by doing, the problem of time planning in private life, the lack of student control, the students not showing the necessary interest in the lesson, the limited use of the board, the face-to-face It has been revealed that they experience problems such as not being able to come together, not getting feedback from the student. In addition, it has been determined that teachers try to solve these problems in ways such as "parent communication, using different platforms, taking time to learn digital content".
