Abstract (EN)

The concept of FETEMM; It is an abbreviation formed by the first letters of the English equivalents of the words Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In general, FETEMM in mathematics and science teaching is based on the synthesis of knowledge and skills related to these fields, based on technology and engineering design. This research was carried out in order to determine the effects of national studies on the STEM education approach between 2013 and 2020 on students in terms of various variables. The sample of the research consists of 55 studies examining the effectiveness of FETEMM applications in Science Education at the national level between 2013 and 2020 on different variables. The meta-analysis method was used in the research. The data obtained from the study were analyzed online via the website "https://www.psychometrica.de/effect_size.html". In the light of the results obtained from the research, the FETEMM education approach on students' academic achievement, scientific process skills, critical thinking skills, FETEMM perception, conceptual understanding skills, career and career interests, motivations, problem-solving skills, inquiry learning skills, attitudes and creativity towards FETEMM. was found to have a significant positive effect. In addition, it has been seen that the FETEMM education approach has a negative and significant effect on the vocational and career interests of primary school students and on the perceptions of secondary school students on FETEMM.
