A research on educational postings in the children's stories of Feyza Hepçilingirler

Education has a special place in raising people. People's education also starts at a young age. Works of children's literature are tools that enable children to acquire basic values such as love, friendship and cooperation. Authors convey these basic values to the readers directly and indirectly in their works written for children. That's why children's literature has a different place in literature. It was aimed to determine the educational messages in the stories written by Feyza Hepçilingirler for children and to reveal their recommendability to students. It has been tried to reveal how much the author's educational messages in his works contribute to the child. It is planned that the research will guide the reader in choosing works according to educational messages. This study consisted of two stages. In the first stage; Among the works of Feyza Hepçilingirler, who contributed to children's literature, the stories named "Türkü Çocuk, The Letter from Ardahan, "Off" Dilim, Children Will Save the World" were examined with the document analysis method in terms of educational values, and the educational values in the books were classified using the content analysis method. Excerpts from the work are given from the messages divided into categories. In the second stage, a research group was formed and a descriptive scanning method was applied with the research group. Twelve volunteer students from the 5th grade of Arslanbucak Secondary School in Antalya Kemer district were selected as the research group. The research group was given a first test about the messages in the book before reading the books, and a final test after reading the books, and the tests were analyzed statistically with appropriate techniques and tools. Content analysis was conducted by applying an interview form to the research group. It has been researched how much the educational messages in the books penetrate the students and the results of the research have been shown. As a result of these examinations, many positive and negative educational messages were identified in Feyza Hepçilingirler' s stories; It has been understood that the author's works can be recommended to students.
