Özet (EN)

Introduction & Objectives: To investigate the effect of tadalafil a selective phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor in experimental renal ischemia-reperfusion injuryand to evaluate these changes using biochemical parameters such as IMA (nonselective early marker of ischemia), NO and MDA levels. Materials& methods: Results: Median IMA levels , respectively Group 1: 16.9, Group 2 : 19.7 , Group 3 15.7 U / ml. The sham group was determined to level 3 in the tadalafil group was significantly lower than the other groups. Nitric oxide values sham and tadalafil were significantly higher in the group. However, this difference was not found statistically significant . MDA levels did not differ between the groups. The loss ratio in the ischemia groups according to pathological examination was not statistically significant compared to the group treated with tadalafil . However, values in both groups compared to the sham group was statistically significantly damaged more severely . Conclusion:IMA can be used as a nonselective biomarker for renal IR injury before ischemic changes occur.NO is inversely correlated with IMA and tadalafil may have a protective role in renal IR injury.
