Özet (EN)

Promising developments are being made every day in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, one of today's most important health problems, in the direction of technological innovations. Traditional treatment methods such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy are used to treat cancer, but these methods have a very high risk of recurrence and many side effects, and photodynamic therapy (PDT), an alternative new treatment method, has many advantages and has played a important role in cancer treatment. As a result of clinical research conducted in recent years, it has been revealed that phthalocyanine compounds can be used as photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy. Within the scope of this thesis, due to the biological and pharmacological properties of pyrazoline compounds, functional pyrazoline derivatives (HY1,2,3-OH) containing fluorine, dimethylamino and dimethoxy groups were chosen as starting compounds, and phthalonitrile compounds (HY1,2,3-CNp/np), which are precursor molecules for phthalocyanines, were obtained from these compounds and finally, axial silicon (HY1,2,3-SiPc) peripheral and non-peripheral zinc phthalocyanine (HY1,2,3-ZnPcp/np) compounds were synthesized and 18 new compounds were introduced to the literature. Photophysical and photochemical measurements of the synthesized new phthalocyanine compounds were examined to determine their usability as photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy.
