Abstract (EN)

Fauvism, as one of the most innovative movements of modern art, revolutionized traditional artistic conventions with its free approach to the use of color and form. Developed by artists such as Henri Matisse, André Derain, and Maurice de Vlaminck, this movement argued for the independent use of colors, treating them as tools to enhance emotional expression. Through compositions created with bright and striking colors, Fauvist artists established intense emotional atmospheres that deeply impacted viewers. This approach marked an aesthetic revolution by abandoning traditional perspective and realistic depictions, focusing instead on the inner world of the artist. This study aims to examine the fundamental aesthetic principles of Fauvism in detail and explore its influence on contemporary art practices. It analyzes how the unique approaches to color and form in Fauvism have evolved and resonated in modern art. Alongside highlighting the innovations Fauvism brought to art, the study investigates how this movement enhanced the expressive power of art. Through this analysis, Fauvism's role in art history and its contributions to contemporary art are assessed from a broader perspective.
