Abstract (EN)

In developing technology, the new type of improved motors have been used instead of conventional electric motors for several applications. Brushless Direct Current Motor (BDCM) is one of this type of motors.The rotor poles of this motor are made of permanent magnet. The development in magnet materials and magnet technology have supported the development of BDCM. Therefore, the BDCMs with small volume, high speed and performance can now be produced. The most important difficulty with these motors is to switch the winding currents. Optic or hall effect position sensors have been used for that reason. Switching transistors or encoders are excited by these sensors. Achieving appropriate switching without position perception makes this type of motors much more superior. Thus, the control of motor is done by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) without doing position perception. In this study, the motor's behaviour was examined with respect to discrete timely and congruent timely switching. BDCM can be operated by doing PLC switching. The speed of motor can be changed with respect to switching speed. Key Words: PLC, Hall effect element, Permanent magnet, Discrete timely switching, Congruent timely switching.
