Abstract (EN)
This study is a study on the adjectives in Gagauz Turkish. In this thesis, general characteristics of adjectives were discussed and the adjectives in Gagauz Turkish were evaluated comparatively with the adjectives in Turkish. For this purpose, Gagauz-Russian-Romanian Dictionary (Çebotar and Dron: 2002) for Gagauz Turkish and Current Turkish Dictionary of TDK publications for Turkish were employed. The study is based on Gagauzian-Russian-Romanian Dictionary (Çebotar and Dron: 2002) and the adjectives in this dictionary are searched. Adjectives in Gagauz Turkish have been examined according to their roots, structures and functions; the similarities and the differences between the adjectives of Gagauz Turkish and Turkish are shown in terms of the structure and the meaning.
