Morphological, micromorphological and anatomical traits of section plecostigma species of gagea genus

Abstract (EN)

In this study, Gagea chloranta, G. sivasica and G. uliginosa species of Plecostigma section belongs to Gagea genus, which were collected from different localities of Turkey, was examined with regard to morphological, seed and leaf surface, pollen micromorphological with anatomical proporties (peduncul, basal leaf and leaf surface) and geographical distribution of the species are given. It was observed that review of characters could be used in taxanomy. Ornomentation of seed surface is reticulate in G. chloranta and G. uliginosa, supraretuculate in G. sivasica. The largest seed belongs to G. chloranta and the smallest seed belongs to G. sivasica. The surface ornomentation of basal and cauline leaf is granulate or micropapillate in G. chloranta and G. uliginosa and it is papillate in G. sivasica. Pollen shape is oblate in G. chloranta and G. uliginosa, problate in G. sivasica, the ornamentation of pollen surface is reticulate, perforate in G. chloranta, rugulate-granulate, rugulate-perforate in G. sivasica and reticulate-cristatum in G. uliginosa. Because of anatomical research, it was seen that peduncle and basal leaf is important in dinstiction of species.
