Child within the context of joy of living and love of nature as a value in the poems of "garip" trend poets

The aim of this study is to reveal the contributions of "Garip" Trend poets who discuss joy of living and love of nature themes to the children in order to gain these values. Poems of Orhan Veli Kanık, Oktay Rifat Horozcu and Melih Cevdet Anday were reviewed and interpreted in this context by using document analysis modal from qualitative research attitude.The data were sorted out after recording with profiling technique while the parameters were collected. The universe of the research consists of poems of the poets of "Garip" Trend and the sample of the poems which are suitable for the level of the children with the joy of living and the love of nature. It was found that the poets' values of joy and nature were determined in 96 poems that examined within the scope of study about 1000 poems which were suitable for children level. The determined poems were found 100 suitable for children's value education from the point of availablity. This research has the characteristic of a rich source of information which enables us to look at "Garip" Trend poets from a different aspect and point up their contribution to value education with their poems.
