Abstract (EN)

In recent years, when we are in a rapidly developing technology period, the traffic problem, which is the problem of many countries around the world, has become a chronic problem in many cities in Turkey. According to today's data, Gaziantep is the ninth most dense city of our country in terms of both vehicles and population, with a population of 2 million 130 thousand 432 and the number of 504511 vehicles. The number of people per car in Gaziantep is 8,2. The traffic volume increasing day by day has been especially effective at the Iller-1,Iller-2 and Shell intersections, which are among the central intersections of the city. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to make correct determinations about the problems in the intersections and corridors determined within the study area and to create the necessary analytical bases for the proposed projects to be created afterwards. By using field observations and peak hour intersection traffic counts for current situation and problem determinations, with the help of PTV-Vissim and Aimsun software, traffic micro-simulation models of the current situation were created and analyzes were carried out.
