Abstract (EN)

Due to negative impacts of urbanization, traditional texture reflecting our cultural history vanishes slowly and historical buildings cannot be sufficiently utilized and maintained. In order to prevent this, even if it is only to some extent and to hand them down to future generations, we put emphasis on Manzumes (a building group smaller than Kulliye) and Kulliyes in Gaziantep and tried to focus on Şeyh Fetullah Kulliye. In order to do this, the definitions of complex structures and their historical evolution in the second chapter. History of Gaziantep and history of small complexes and complexes in Gaziantep and architectural structures along with their pre and post restoration conditions in the third chapter were emphasized. In the fourth and last chapter of our thesis, the location, history of Gaziantep Şeyh Fetullah Kulliye, architecture of the structural units inside Kulliye, and its carrier system, comparative study, an examination of the renovations and post restoration condition have been dwelled on.
