Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of anemia on fetal well-being parameters in pregnant women. For this purpose, the study is composed of six main sections. In the introduction part of the first chapter, the aim, subject and importance of the study are mentioned. After the introduction, information was given about the concept of pregnancy. Explanations and recommendations about the definition of pregnancy, its importance, changes during pregnancy, possible risk factors during pregnancy, risky pregnancyrates in Turkey and in the world, high-risk pregnancy phenomenon, health problems experienced during pregnancy and nutrition during pregnancy are presented. In the first chapter, anemia after pregnancy is emphasized. In this section, the definition of anemia, its incidence, classification, clinical findings and iron deficiency anemia are mentioned. Here in after, the process of anemia in pregnancy is included. In this process, information is given about the incidence, causes, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, maternal effects and treatment. Then, while talking about fetal well-being, explanations were made about fetomaternal circulation physiology, fetal circulation, regulation of fetalgrowth, evaluation of fetalwell-being, fetal doppler ultrasonography and fetal biophysical profile scoring. In these condpart of the study, literature studies on the subject were examined. In the conclusion part of the study, the subject, purpose, content and importance of the study were summarized and the study was concluded.
