Özet (EN)
The local architecture of Turkey is very rich. Stone architecture is also a part of the local architecture, like buildings built with other traditional materials. Transferring these structures to future generations will be possible by a good understanding of stone architecture and by documenting these structures. Traditional stone structures perform well in terms of energy efficiency by adapting to environmental and climatic conditions while meeting the needs of their users with their architectural designs, materials, construction techniques, dimensions, shapes, land locations, surrounding landscapes. These structures are designed to use natural sources of heat, light and ventilation to provide an optimized thermal comfort according to local climatic conditions. For a successful rehabilitation project, it is necessary to understand and define the existing energy-efficient aspects of the historic structure and how they function, as well as to uncover their characteristic features in order to ensure their conservation. It is important to use the inherent sustainable qualities of the historical building when restoring it for new function or continuous use. In order to better understand the historical buildings, pre- and post-restoration models of an intervened building is created with HBIM (Historical Building Information Modeling) and energy analysis is performed. After evaluating the calculations and analyzes made, the design features of the buildings that provide energy efficiency are evaluated and suggestions are presented. Evaluation, protection and advice are necessary both for today and for future generations.
