Abstract (EN)

The house is the woman's world, and each house has its own unique patterns of relationship and behavior. Self is not in a place or house itself; But rather in the sense of spaces and in the style of relations established with them. Women personalize the places where they live in. The most important point of self is acceptance and intention. Things that are voluntarily owned are accepted and personalized. The identity is formed with the possessors and they are defined by their possession. The differences in the content and form of the self-continuity process include the verbal expressions of the style of relationship that the residents of the house build with themselves and with others. Women are transforming the residence to reflect the identity and personality characteristics, and when this does not happen, the integration process regarding the living space becomes unhealthy and unsatisfying. The study consists of five main sections. In the first chapter, the problem and the aim of the study were determined and the literature about the basic dynamics, the structure of the society, the woman and the selfing were examined. In the second part, the method of work has been determined according to purpose of the work and defined problem, The selected Zeytinlik region was introduced and the techniques used on the works were given. In the third part, findings and observations obtained from the survey studies and observations were included. In the fourth chapter, based on the findings, discussions and conclusions are presented. In the fifth chapter, suggestions that can be considered as a reference for future studies are presented. In the sixth and seventh chapters, the sources and appendices are listed respectively. Key Words: Appropriation, Women and Space, Women and Housing, Zeytinlik Residences.
