Abstract (EN)

This thesis has been prepared to reveal the job satisfaction levels of Tahtacı Turkmens, who have an important place in traditional wood production workmanship and whose tendency to do this profession is gradually decreasing, and the perception levels of forestry organization personnel towards this segment. Job satisfaction of Tahtacı and perception towards Tahtacı were determined with a job satisfaction scale and perception scale prepared specifically for this group. To evaluate the data obtained, T test, ANOVA and Pos-hoc analyzes were performed using the SPSS package program. As a result of the study; It was found that the job satisfaction of Tahtacı consists of 9 factors and the perception towards Tahtacı consists of 7 factors. It has been determined that Tahtacı have a medium level of job satisfaction and that job satisfaction varies according to gender, age, number of children, education level, professional experience, distance of the temporary home to the work area, liking for the job, production method, wage type and working unit variables. The forestry organization personnel have a high level of perception towards woodworking Turkmens and the perception is; it was determined that there was a significant difference according to the variables of education level, age, professional experience and graduated university.
