Abstract (EN)
The primary objective of the research is to reveal the opinions of personnel working within the Tunceli Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports regarding the physical, technical, personnel, and functional adequacy of the sports facilities they serve. In this context, perceptions regarding the infrastructure, equipment, maintenance and repair processes, usage efficiency, and service quality of the existing facilities were analyzed to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Based on the findings, the aim is to offer recommendations for more effective use and development of sports facilities. The research population consists of all personnel working in sports facilities affiliated with the Tunceli Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. The sample group consists of 50 personnel, 27 female and 23 male, who were selected on a voluntary basis. The "Scale for Determining the Adequacy Levels of Sports Facilities," developed by Nacar (2011), was used as the data collection tool. SPSS 26.0 statistical package program was used in data analysis. In addition to descriptive statistics, an Independent Samples t-test and a One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to determine differences between groups. According to the research findings, while managers generally found the sports facilities sufficient, other personnel disagreed. This suggests that perceptions of facility adequacy can vary depending on the roles and responsibilities within the institution.
