Performance analysis of recycled asphalt pavements in combination with SBS polymer and anti-striping agent

Within the scope of this Thesis study, experimental and analytical investigations were carried out for the investigation of the combination of SBS and anti-stripping for stone mastic asphalt at high rap content and for the rutting and indirect tensile strength tests in this anti-striping (DOP) combination. This thesis study consists of three separate parts. In the first part, the stone mastic asphalt is explained, the parameters affecting the stone mastic asphalt design, the studies carried out by examining the association of recycled asphalt, general information about recycled asphalt with anti-stripping additive, and finally the necessary performance tests formed by their mixture are included. In the second part, the studies carried out within the scope of the thesis and the findings obtained from these studies are included. The second stage consists of two parts. In the first part, a total of 32 briquettes were made for stone mastic asphalt, eight briquettes each, the first 8 briquettes in optimum bitumen, the second 8 briquettes with 0,2% dope additive, the third 8 briquettes with 0,4% dope additive and the last 8 briquettes with 0,6% dope additive. has been made. In the second part, the same 32 briquettes were made and only the design was made using 40% Recycled Asphalt (GDA). In the third chapter, indirect tensile strength test and rutting tests of these made bricks were performed and performance evaluations were made, and the results and suggestions obtained from the thesis study are included.
