The effect of planting frequency on some morphological quality criteria of black pine grown in Göksun forest nurseries

In this thesis, we investigated the effects of 2 + 0 years old seedlings, which consist of larch seeds that we planted in four different intervals, frequently and rarely, on some morphological quality criteria. As a result of the investigations, 2 + 0 year old Black Pine (Pinus nigra) saplings grown in open field conditions in the nursery of Göksun Forest Management Directorate Tekir Forest Nursery Department were used. As morphological quality criteria, some morphological seedling characteristics such as index of robustness, stiffness, stem dry weight, root dry weight, stem fresh weight, root fresh weight, root throat diameter and seedling length criteria were evaluated. As a result of the investigations, it was observed that 2 + 0 year old seedlings grown at four different sowing frequencies had an effect on some morphological characters. As a result of these observations and evaluations, larch sapling length, larch seedling root diameter, larch seedling fresh weight, larch seedling dry weight, larch seedling root fresh weight and larch seedling dry weight of the highest values were observed in the sparsely grown saplings. values were found in seedlings grown very often and frequently. In addition, larch seedling fresh body weight / larch seedling root fresh weight ratio (hardness) according to the frequency of sowing did not occur, although the values obtained were found to be less than 3.
