Abstract (EN)
Visually impaired individuals need some tools in order to maintain their daily lives. Thanks to the advancing technology in recent years, they can move more easily. Many tools are not easy to transport due to their size or have more complicated features. For this reason, it is thought that these tools should be made more useful. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate a prototype draft project that can be designed to enable visually impaired individuals to move more easily and safely. In this study, it was investigated whether the white cane, which is the most commonly used tool in the daily life of the visually impaired, can be used with a wearable technology such as glasses, and can be replaced with a white cane. For this purpose, a prototype draft has been created and the attitude of visually impaired people to use this draft was evaluated through a likert-scale questionnaire with 5 options.
