Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between job satisfaction levels and organizational commitment among individuals working in the customs brokerage sector has been examined in detail. The empirical part of the research was conducted with the participation of a total of 70 employees working in customs brokerage firms operating in the Hopa district of Artvin province. A quantitative research method was adopted, and the data were collected through structured questionnaires. The questionnaire included items designed to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants, as well as scales aimed at measuring their levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Statistical analysis of the obtained data was performed using the SPSS 22 software. The analysis results revealed that as employees' job satisfaction increases, their level of commitment to the organization also rises significantly and positively. Furthermore, the regression analysis demonstrated that job satisfaction is a significant predictor of employees' organizational commitment. It was also determined that job satisfaction has meaningful effects on the intrinsic, extrinsic, and overall sub-dimensions of commitment. The findings were interpreted by taking the demographic characteristics of the participants into consideration. Based on the results of the research, it can be stated that increasing employees' job satisfaction may contribute to strengthening their commitment to the organization. Moreover, institutional practices that support employee commitment and job satisfaction are expected to have positive impacts on employee motivation and productivity.
