Abstract (EN)

This research aims to suggest the problems experienced by the personnel working in the provincial organization of customs administrations within the framework of the provisions of the legislation and what needs to be done to solve these problems. In this way, it was aimed to raise awareness of the problems experienced by filling the gaps within the framework of the provisions of the legislation. The research was conducted with qualitative research method case design interview and document analysis data collection tools. In this context, it was carried out with the participation of 40 (forty) personnel with different titles working within the Ministry of Trade in 2023-2024 with non-random appropriate sampling. In the research, 10 (ten) questions were asked to the participants by using semi-structured written interview questions. By providing the necessary freedom and flexibility to the participants, the opinions and judgments they expressed were tried to be analyzed in depth. In the research, the analysis of the data was prepared in line with the answers received in writing. At the end of the research, the problems and difficulties experienced by the personnel working in the Provincial Organization of Customs Administrations; legislation, the relationship between the manager and the personnel, the relationship between the personnel and the citizens demanding service, the insufficiency of technological infrastructure and material, the physical structure of the customs bonded area, the service provided and the relationship with professional development were revealed.
