Abstract (EN)

In this study, which has been carried out in Gümüşhane-Şiran, some hydrologic-physical soil properties have been investigated according to the land covers ( BM, OT, BÇs) and Volkanik bedrock in degraded forest areas. There are BM, OT, BÇs land covers on the Volcanic bedrock. 56 soil samples from 25 sample areas were taken to represent the work area for his purpose. By opening land profiles, the soil samples have been taken according to the depth levels In the laboratory researches various physical (texture, dispersion rate, structural stability index, colloid- humid equivalent rate, field capacity, erosion rate, wilting point, utilized water capacity) and chemical (organic substance, EC and pH) characteristics and aggregate stability have been determined. According to ANOVA results of land covers (BM, OT, BÇs) have been found to generate a statistically significant difference on field capacity, wilting point, accessible water capacity, pH,% dust content and aggregate stability. The soils have been found to be unstable in erosion because the dispersion rates in most forms of land uses are greater than 15%. These results show that the lands in this area are susceptible to erosion. Because of the fact that land cover and bedrock have significant effects on various characteristics of soils of study areas, these characteristics should be taken into consideration in the scientific studies.
