Primary school teacher in new religious culture and ethics related to science curriculum and teacher opinions

The aim of this research is to indicate the problems and deficiencies and determine the efficiency of the most update curriculum of the Religion and Ethics Lesson, that has been applied to the secondary schools in 2018-2019 academic year. Objectives, content, process and evaluation aspects of the curriculum are evaluated by survey method. We used the assessments of teachers. The universe of this research is one hundred Religion and Ethics Lesson teachers, 35 percent of whom live in Ağrı province, and rest of them live in twenty nine other cities of Turkey. Scanning model was used for the evaluation of the curriculum, objectives, content, learning process and evaluation parts. Percentage and frequency calculations for each data are automatically calculated by Google forms application while analyzing the data obtained by scale. After percentage and frequency calculations, teacher assessment results are transferred into tables and interpreted. At the end of the research, it is found that the Religion and Ethics Lesson teachers have mostly positive judgments about the curriculum. Updates and renewals are found successful in point of today's changing conditions and innovations in education
