Abstract (EN)
The use of unmanned aerial vehicles is increasing day by day. It is possible to use different energy sources to fly unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed according to their intended purpose of use and desired tasks. Although electric energy is generally preferred, solar-powered UAVs have become an open topic for development, especially in recent days when renewable energy has increased in importance. The concept design, preliminary design, and detailed design process were followed within the scope of the thesis and theoretically, the design of the solar-paneled UAV was made. It was assumed that the theoretically designed UAV would be flown in Eskisehir and Eskisehir daylight values were used. Because the battery is filled in the presence of daylight, it is possible to fly at night. If it is desired to make production in the process, it has been made possible to continue with this work.
