Abstract (EN)
Solar power plants have a large share of importance among renewable energy plants. In addition, solar energy power plants have recently become increasingly important in terms of production. Compared to other renewable energy power plants, it is easy to install, quick to complete, and maintenance costs are low. Maintenance is important after the installation of solar power plants, and maintenance that is not carried out on time causes a decrease in efficiency. Analyzes of the solar power plant planned to be installed on the roof of Gaziantep Islamic Science and Technology University in the pvsyst environment for 3 different situations are discussed. Here, the pollution coefficient on solar panels depending on the pollution rate of the air is discussed. Accordingly, it was determined how much the efficiency could decrease. The comparison here is determined by the lowest pollution rate of the surface of the solar panels. Another missing element is the air temperature and its effect on the solar panels due to the ambient temperature. Accordingly, it was determined how much the efficiency could decrease. The comparison here is the maximum energy production in the environment where the solar panels are located, according to the design, during the highest optimum air temperatures. In the study conducted in case 1, the possibility of providing high production in windy weather conditions, where the pollution rate on the panel is very low and the air temperature is in the temperature range where the solar panel can provide maximum efficiency, and at the same time it is at a level that will cool the panel, is discussed. In the study conducted in the second case, it was evaluated as a simulation by considering the pollution rate on the panel at a certain level, the pollution on the panel not being cleaned for a while, and the efficiency loss in the panel at the temperature level depending on the ambient temperature. In the study conducted in the 3rd case, the efficiency loss that will occur in the last stage as a result of not cleaning the pollution on the panel for a long time is discussed, and it is discussed that in addition to the efficiency loss due to the ambient temperature, additional efficiency loss occurs due to the extra heat created on the panel due to the pollution. The method that will minimize temperature and pollution factors is to wash the panel surface with the water system. The washing method both reduces the panel temperature and cleans the impurities on the panel surface.
