Abstract (EN)
The traditional houses of the Southeastern Anatolia Region are important in terms of being a source of future housing designs, which are examples of the ways in which human beings adapt to their surroundings. For this reason, the open and semi open spaces of the traditional houses of the region have been studied within the scope of the study. It is explained how the traditional houses of the region, which is a precious inheritance with important ideas that might inspire future generations, are shaped in accordance with the hot dry clit. Traditional houses of the Southeastern Anatolia Region, which are developed according to their design methods and tradition in terms of centuries of experience, are important in Anatolia's traditional house architecture. The warm dry climate has made it possible to build courtyard houses that allow adjoining and spatial joining, and to organize organic street fashions. In this respect, the open and semi-open space solutions created in the hot dry climate prevailing in the Southeastern Anatolia region will shed light on the future construction of passive energy use.
