Hadi Taktaş and selected poems (Review-text-transfer)

The aim of this study is to examine the life and poetry of Hadi Taktaş in 20th-century Kazan Tatar literature. Hadi Taktaş is one of the prominent figures in the poetry tradition of Kazan Tatar literature. Bringing a new perspective to poetry, Hadi Taktaş embraced a romanticism in his works. He made significant contributions to the development of poetry in Kazan Tatar literature and authored works that serve as guiding lights not only for his own era but also for future generations. Prior to delving into the life and poetry of Hadi Taktaş, the social, political, and economic conditions of 20th-century Kazan Tatar society and literature are discussed. The subsequent sections focus on Hadi Taktaş's life and analyze his poetry. There is insufficient research on Hadi Taktaş, a significant representative of the poetry tradition in Kazan Tatar literature, in our country. This study aims to establish recognition of Hadi Taktaş and his works in Turkey by examining him as a mirror reflecting the structure of Tatar society
