Using of truth and metaphor i̇n a single word

The matter of use of truth and metaphor in a single word is first related to Imam-ı Shafi. In fact, a lot of scholars before Imam-ı Shafi have used truth and metaphor in a word before. However, because of the fact that Imam-ı Shafi is a imam of a sect and since he has a book titled al- Umm as well as his interpretations pointing to this issue, has made him a source of further reference to this issue. The use of truth and metaphor in a single word has emerged as a product of the fiqh science and over time becomes a subject studied in the whole science of shar'i. This issue has been also a topic of debate among the interpretators of Koran since Zemahşeri. The interpretators of Koran has expressed very different views about the existence of this topic in the Koran. In this study, we first theorically assessed whether the use of the truth and the metaphor in one word is appropriate or not. Then, with emphasis on the existence of this subject in the Koran, we have discussed the most controversial verses related to the subject with the views of the interpretators of the Koran.
