Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between free time satisfaction, happiness and social physical anxiety levels of the women participating in sports activities at the Public Education Center. The population of the research consists of 1467 female individuals who participated in the sports activities in Ankara Cankaya Public Education Center in 2019-2020. The sample of the study consists of 400 people selected from this group of participants by simple random sampling method. "Personal Information Form", "Leisure Satisfaction Scale (LSS)", "Oxford Happiness Scale Short Form (OHS-S)" and "Social Physics Anxiety Inventory (SPAI)" were used as data collection tools in the research. The analysis of the data was carried out with the help of SPSS 25.0 package software. And the analyzes used within the study were frequency, percentage, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, Mann Whitney U test, one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, Pearson and Spearman's regression analyzes. The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the marital status variable, which is one of the findings of the study, was examined with the Mann-Whitney U test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores between married and single individuals was not statistically significant (p>0.05).The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores among the age groups was analyzed with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between SPAI, SMO and FTSS scores between age groups was not statistically significant (p>0.05). The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to educational status was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean OHS-S and FTSS scores among education levels was not statistically significant, however, it was significant for SPAI (p=0.045<0.05). Dunn's multiple comparison test with Bonferroni correction was used to find the group that created the difference. The difference between mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to occupation was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores among the occupational groups was not statistically significant (p>0.05).The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to income status was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores among the income levels was not statistically significant (p>0.05). The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the state of actively doing sports was examined with the Mann-Whitney U test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores among the states of actively doing and not actively doing sports, was statistically significant (p<0.05). The mean SPAI and FTSS scores of individuals who do sports actively are lower than those who do not. In addition, the mean OHS-S of the individuals who do active sports are higher than those who do not. The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the frequency of doing sports was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean OHS-S scores among the levels of frequency of doing sports is not statistically significant, while the difference between the SPAI and FTSS scores is statistically significant (p<0.05). Dunn's multiple comparison test with Bonferroni correction was used to find the groups that created the difference. The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the free time environment was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores varying according to the categories of free time environments was statistically significant (p<0.05). Dunn's multiple comparison test with Bonferroni correction was used to find the groups that created the difference. The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the free time durations was examined with the Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the free time environment categories was not statistically significant (p>0.05).The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to how the free time is spent was examined by Dunn's test with Bonferroni correction. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the categories of how the free time is spent was statistically significant (p<0.05). Dunn's test with Bonferroni correction was used to find the group that created the significant difference. The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the influences against free time, was examined with the Mann-Whitney U test. According to the results obtained, the difference between mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores varying according to the influence of family life to free time, was not statistically significant (p>0.05).The difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to the groups which are shaped with the variable of "with whom the free activities are performed", was examined with the test of Kruskal-Wallis. According to the results obtained, the difference between the mean SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores according to "with whom the free time activities are performed" is not statistically significant ( p>0.05). As a result, since the normal distribution assumption was not provided, the correlation between the research group's SPAI, OHS-S and FTSS scores was analyzed with the Spearman correlation coefficient. There is a statistically significant 12.8% inverse correlation between SPAI and OHS-S. On the other hand, there is a statistically significant 25.2% correlation between SPAI and FTSS in the same direction.
