Abstract (EN)

This study psychological violence between nurses and related factors is an investigation conducted to determine the descriptive Research a descriptive study and research population, the province of Izmir Katip çelebi University, Atatürk Training and Research Hospital (646 nurses), Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital (430 nurses), Aydin State Hospital (300 nurses) working nurses has created. Research data "which comprises sociodemographic questionnaire,"Yıldırım and Yıldırım (2007) was developed by and validity and reliability study made "Workplace Psychological Violence Behavior Assessment and Development Scale" and Gilbert et al (1995) and developed by our country reliability and validity study of Savaşır and Sahin (1997) which is made by "Submissive Behavior Scale" and was collected. 44% of nurses in the 33-40 age range, 89.5% women, 55.8% were married in, 46.6% of the bachelor's degree, 47% of university hospitals, 25.5% of the where he worked in internal medicine service, and over 15 years of experience accounted 45.7%, which was 36.6% sınce 1 year 1 month and 5 years have been working in the same institution. Nurses, 47% (n = 366) of lateral violence that he has suffered, dealt with the reason for 10.3% (n = 38) jealousy, 10.1% (n = 37) education raises, to be 8.2% in the (n = 30) competition among them, which was 4.6% (n = 17) patients a new beginning, which is 4.3% of the workload and volume of patients, 3.8% (n = 14) political opinions difference, 3.2% (n = 12) stated that physical violence because of the image. 42.1% (n = 154) is less than one year duration stated that violence. Statistical which are analyzed and the findings of the study have been discussed in the literature. Key words: lateral violence between nurses, relationship factors.
